FLIP — short, honest reads for people building a life of faith.

Faith · Life · Intimacy with God · Purpose — the four threads of a disciple's everyday walk, in reads of 3–6 minutes.

What is FLIP?

FLIP stands for Faith, Life, Intimacy with God, and Purpose—the four threads of a disciple's everyday walk. It is a space where young professionals, tentmakers, students, and everyday believers from diverse communities share what God is teaching them through ordinary life. Here you'll find faith journeys, devotional reflections, biblical insights, and timely encouragement designed to help you follow Christ with wisdom, purpose, and authenticity. Most articles are a 3–6 minute read, making them easy to engage with wherever life takes you.

Written by disciples, not influencers. No outrage, no endless feed — just honest faith.

The Weight of an Open Door

Does the Lord set things up for us, or do we set them up ourselves and call it grace afterward? On preparation as faith made physical — and the door that is a summons to character.

The Promise Keeper Doesn’t Need Your Help

A particular exhaustion comes not from working too hard, but from working in the wrong direction. On rest, becoming, and the enemies that live inside the promise.

The Misread Life

Being misunderstood is not a failure of communication. It is often the first sign that you are saying something worth saying.

Faith

The Loudest Thing You Never Said

A former student’s email years later, and the argument you chose not to finish. On influence that travels quietly, and faith acting through restraint.

Intimacy with God

The 11-minute quiet time that survived my commute

The BTS from Bang Na to Asok is 11 minutes if I'm lucky. I stopped waiting for a "perfect morning" and built a tiny, repeatable rhythm I could actually keep.

Life

What no one told me about money in my twenties

Sending money home, tithing, saving, and still grabbing moo kratha with friends — a young accountant's honest take on generosity without guilt or burnout.

Faith

Being the only Christian at the office party

In a Buddhist-majority workplace, I learned that showing up warm and curious does more than any clever argument. A few small things that kept me present, not preachy.

Purpose

Tentmaking is not a backup plan

My day job isn't a stepping-stone to "real ministry." It is the ministry. How Paul's trade in Acts 18 reframed the way I see my desk in Cebu IT Park.

Intimacy with God

Praying when you don't feel anything

Some seasons prayer feels like talking to the ceiling. Here's the short list of practices — and one Psalm — that carried me through a dry three months.

Faith

Doubt is not the opposite of faith

I almost left the faith in my second year of work. What kept me wasn't certainty — it was a few honest people who let me ask hard questions out loud.

Intimacy with God

A simple way to read the Bible if you're starting over

No app subscriptions, no guilt charts. Just the Gospel of Mark, one chapter, and three questions you can answer in five minutes. A reset for anyone who fell off.
